Need a Speaker?
I’m excited to teach your most brilliant creative minds how to navigate our new and uncertain future with the robots, cultivate genuine connections without the robots, and focus on creating things in this world that matter.
Why should you book me?
Having lived in the creative trenches for twenty-five years, I empathize with the challenges that often stop “creatives” from putting their best work out into the world, including imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and procrastination. And when it comes to where the robots do (and DO NOT) belong in the creative process…well…I have thoughts.
Having built my entire career via cold outreach, my unique approach to “networking” is one that creatives—especially the introverted ones!—can relate to that allows them to cultivate genuine connections and build meaningful relationships (without the robots).
Having endured countless physical challenges—including running over 30 Spartan races and competing twice on American Ninja Warrior (and failing…twice)—my unique approach to setting goals can inspire your audience to overcome their obstacles and embrace discomfort with a smile on their face.

Speaking Topics

To AI
or Not to AI?
Let me help your audience of creatives navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence so they can learn how to use the robots more effectively, but without losing their ability to think critically , connect authentically, and create like humans.

Networking:
Reimagined
Let’s inspire those who struggle with (or are outright allergic to) traditional “networking” and help them learn a completely different approach to cultivating genuine connections and building real relationships (without using the robots).

Setting
SCARY Goals
Let’s inspire your audience to step outside their comfort zones and set more meaningful goals that allow them to navigate this next uncertain phase of their work and lives with clarity and confidence.

My Official Media Bio
When asked, “So what do you do?” Zack’s answer is “It’s complicated…”
Zack spent the first two decades of his career as an award-winning Hollywood filmmaker, editor, and producer (notable credits include Cobra Kai, Empire, Burn Notice, and GO FAR: The Christopher Rush Story). He has now transitioned to spending his days as a creative career coach (or as his students jokingly refer to him, a “career therapist”) at The Arnold Academy, talking to fascinating people on The Zack Arnold Podcast, and writing about the intersection of living as analog humans in a world being overrun by the robots on Substack. His work has been featured in National Public Radio, Forbes, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, and The Wrap, to name a small few.
If you want to create things that matter, Zack wants to help you…especially if you struggle to get out of your own way, you’re navigating a difficult life transition and lack a clear path, or you struggle to put yourself out there and want to build genuine relationships (but are allergic to traditional “networking”).
